Mandata Juntas – Codeputadas Estaduais

Juntas is the first feminist, anti-racist, anti-LGBTIphobic, and grassroots collective mandate to hold a seat in the Legislative Assembly of Pernambuco (Alepe). They were elected with 39,175 votes in 2018. The collective mandate is an innovative political experience, embodying the principle of collectivity in daily practice and challenging the old politics rooted in individualism. For them, collective action in political participation is simultaneously a principle, a value, and a transformative practice.
