Rita Ferreira

Psychopedagogue (FAMERP), social scientist, and pedagogue (UNESP). She is an associate member of NUPE and served as coordinator of Policies for Women in Araraquara (SP). Currently, she is the Technical Coordinator for Support to School Councils and was president of the Council for Combating Discrimination and Racism. She also works as a Popular Legal Advocate and coordinator of the Bennu Collective. Furthermore, she is a representative of the PLPs (Popular Legal Promoters) of Araraquara in the State Coordination and the National Network of PLPs; organizer of the Black PLPs Gathering (\”Aquilombamento\”); and president of the Council for Women\’s Rights of Araraquara.
